John B. Askew is a sixth generation family farmer. His family’s Century Farm is near Thurman, Iowa, where they farm 1,400 acres of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. Mr. Askew is currently serving as Regional Administrator for EPA Region 7, where he leads the oversight of federal environmental programs throughout Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and nine tribal nations. Mr. Askew is committed to building strong partnerships with agriculture, and using innovation to meet the nation’s energy challenges. During his tenure with EPA, Mr. Askew is interested in fostering solutions that work for the economy, the environment, and the citizens of Region 7. |
